Born in 1973 in London, England, my interest for art developed during my tender years as a pupil at Hazelwood School. From those early years and through my teenage years as Winchmore Senior School my interest grew stronger and it was at the age of 15, where through experiencing my very first exhibition and receiving an “A” grade, I came to the realization that art that was my passion!

In 1992, following this passion, I enrolled at Epping College to complete a 1 year Art Foundation course. My time spent at Epping College helped me to decide to major in Graphics and Illustration and hence I would spend the next 3 years at Staffordshire University to explore just that!

At the end of my time at university and after 4 amazing years exploring myself as an artist and the worlds of graphics and illustration, it would be illustration, a medium where I learned that I could express myself in the purest and most honest form that I would lean towards.

In the last 10 years my inspirations for my work have come from traveling to Europe, Asia, South and Central America, to the likes of Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Philippines, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico and The United States.

It is fair to say that my personal distinctive style has come from my life experiences, most influentially those of other cultures. For me living is about experiencing new things, new cultures, meeting new people and most of all absorbing and learning from such experiences and allowing them to affect you and your work as an artist. It is therefore that the happiness I feel through expressing myself as an artist is evident in every piece that I create.

It was in 2007 at an Art Expo in Escazu, Costa Rica that I first exhibited with other artists. It was a great experience from which I received appreciation from both well renowned artists of the region and lovers of art.

What I like most about the pieces I create are the lines, shapes, colours and the energy that each one brings to the admiring eye. With such mesmerizing creative strokes the aim of each piece is to ensure, that for even a moment, those that appreciate allow themselves to be drawn in, to lose themselves and succumb to their powers of escapism!

In all, my work represents the ups and downs of life but most importantly its what they make you feel at the end of the visual journey that has the most importance!
